I'm actually finally making progress on the Kim character study I started months and months ago so heres some!

Kinn is alive. The phone is still ringing when he gets back to the office; still only Tankhun on the other end. The vibrations skitter through his bones and the itch starts up again, simmering under his skin in time with the phone against the floor. The sun has mostly set since he left it there; the sky outside a dusky bruise, neon light pollution against the smog of a city that hasn’t seen rain in days. It’s been like this since Kinn left, without a detail, to meet a disgraced bodyguard with no background check at a non-secure location. Kinn is alive, and Kim is so angry with him it feels like he can’t breathe. Kim hasn’t slept in a while. Nothing so far has helped. Kinn’s death is the pin in a grenade; Kim would have seconds between Chan’s call and the full lockdown of guards outside, a stifling mandate - to 'keep him safe'. Seconds before the leash around his throat snapped short. The alternative is running. Kinn dies and Chan calls, and Kim has a split second to carve his way out. To hope that his father is so convinced of his indifference that Khun won't be held as collateral. He knows, from the buzzing of the phone against the floor, that he hasn't done enough. With the desk almost clear, his eyes settle on the empty ornate crystal decanter at the side. It's useful primarily as a blunt instrument. Inconspicuous, and within arm's reach if all else fails. A housewarming gift from his father; the threat of his presence implied. Kim doesn't drink whisky. His brother does.

I assume... like not amongst themselves...?

Erin befriends... probably a lot of girls on accident. Lillie finds him easy to speak with and they both enjoy fairy types. Acerola is intrigued by him, especially when he reveals that he has a Mimikyu. (His possible friendship with Ohi'a also aids in this.) His more meek nature also brings in Wally to approach him. They seem to find themselves able to bond over being more quiet lads who tend to keep to themselves but enjoy battling. Irida hangs around him quite often, too. Sometimes she fussed over him, seemingly knowing him somehow. He does not get it. His friendship Lenie also brings him into meeting Sophacles. They both chat about their knowledge in engineering, even if Erin's own only skews towards trains.

Nero... finds himself pretty isolated aside from the group he already knows. At first. He knows Nanu is keeping an eye on him, but that's one of his dad's friends. Marnie is interested in him despite his clear attempts to distance himself from dark types. He admittedly likes Piers's music and is embarrassed to have caught the attention of his little sister. Sidney also takes an interest in him, seeing the child of another dark-type Elite Four's kid. He can that Nero has a lot of potential and wants to see it grow himself. Though, his determination in using fighting types also brings in a few trainers of that variety. Bruno takes a keen interest in him (alongside hearing Marshal praise his discipline) and offers to train him. Oddly, Riley also takes an interest in Nero. His aura is fascinating to observe. He ends up catching the attention of more skilled trainers, basically. However, Marnie does end up becoming a friend of his somehow.

Morrigan... Naturally, has a facade up. Yet, she still catches the attention of many trainers. Karen is intrigued by Grimsley's daughter, almost not believing it to be true. She takes Morrigan under her wing and teaches her a few things about caring for pokemon. Lucy also finds herself drawn in by this girl, seeing a terrifying foe developing. And, somehow (likely from Nanu), Anabel ends up keeping an eye on her. The woman finds herself concerned with the path this young girl is on, yet fascinated by her powress at such a young age. This innate talent catches Nemona's eye and she demands battles with her all the time, almost dragging her into her friend group. The Paldean cast intrigues her a bit. Somehow, Morrigan mostly only attracts adult women worried for her and a trainer near her age wanting a new rival.

Ohi'a... Alas, ends up alone. Much like his father. Well, that is untrue. Looker has him under his watch and inviting him for investigate various things due to seeing his father in the boy. Arven somehow ends up friends with him. The Paldean boy just finds himself at ease with the Alolan boy. They both seem to respect boundaries and enjoy caring for their respective pokemon like family. His situation also reminds Ohi'a's of Acerola's own, so he knows how to be mindful. Silver also finds himself at ease with him, which makes for a funny situation since Giovanni takes an interest in him as Nanu's son. He is invited to join Team Rocket for too many times. A declination is given every time. Ohi'a just wanders alone until people start following after him. (Hilariously, Giovanni gets glared down by Guzma for trying to take one of his members. Ohi'a does not recall joining Team Skull.)

Lenie... Dear, Lenie barely gets out much on Pasio due to her father's worries, but she does befriend Sophocles. The boy's care for her father makes her happy more people see him for the man he is. They work on projects together pretty often. Clemont also finds himself chatting with her due to her technical powress. She is a beneficial aid, and he is happy to call her a friend. Colress even dares approach her to discuss a possible project together, but Cyrus manifests and chases him off. However, she also finds herself befriended by Jasmine, who speaks with her about steel types. Their gentle natures mesh well.

Clover... Little Clover is far too inquisitive about everything. Like her father, she lacks a filter and does thing that might scare away people if they are unprepared. However, she is simply so cute and sweet that most people look past it. Hapu ends up as the first to befriend the girl, seeing her like someone who needs some guidance. She ends up having to tell some people off quite often. Lana also finds herself drawn into her, seeing her like she does her little sisters. Both also are endeared by Clover's strong love of nature. Her cute nature also brings in Lusamine, unfortunately. She almost wishes to adopt the little girl. However, Clover seems uninterested in playing along due to how her mind flows. Lillie ends up befriending her, too, through Hapu.

Inka struggles. She is abrasive and awkward. Her love of battling is clear and visible, but her personality can be volatile. Still, Nemona absolutely loves her as a rival and sticks to her like glue. They both are highly capable trainers. This only makes sense, no? She catches Guzma's eye, too. Her love of Joltiks and angsty-ness lands her an invite to Team Skull. Thankfully, Emmet declines for her. She does hang around them, alas. She catches Geeta's eye through Nemona, who seeks to help set the girl on a better path (and moving to Paldea). The Champion is confident in her improvement. Penny and her also befriend one another to bitch about their fathers (a powerful bond).

Emma finds friends easily. Despite her resting bitch face, she is social and polite. Nessa is draw in by her beauty and style, wishing to both have her a rival in battle and modelling. Diantha also approaches her, seeing quite a bit of potential in the girl. She ponders taking her as an apprentice. Lisia also ends up as friend, seeing the terrifying talent she holds in being a contest star. Naturally, Dawn and May do, too. Lots of girls and women surround her due to her fashion and nature almost like a big sister.

Prisma... Is quite similar to Lenie. Except, while she does befriend Clemont, her talkative nature scares off Sophocles. And, well, she does catch the attention of Lysandre due to her rising talent in science and him still owning a business. She is far too happy to be praised. Though, Sonia also takes notice of the girl and pulls her out from that. Prisma ends up idolsing the Galarian professor instead. Fashionable and intelligent... Her goals lie before her. They end up becoming besties. Oleana takes in the girl, too, seeing a lot of potential for Macro Cosmos. Thankfully, she ends up warding off her due to the bad press of being a criminal's daughter. Oleana does remain in contact, though. Meeting Elesa also is a dream for her. The Gym Leader Model looking past the Colress connection and offering to take her under her wing in fashion.

Laureano... He just wants a nice vacation with his dad. Instead, he get surrounded by weirdos. For some unknown reason, Cheren seems to wish to use him as a teacher's aid (which he agrees to). Norman wants to almost train him as a protégé since his son has long surpassed him. And Kabu seems to like him as much as his father. He is surrounded. Most agree to play baseball with him at least. A lot of trainers his age also seem to become his friend. Brendan likes that he is just easy to talk to, Nate likes that he lets him ramble without judgement, and Rei confesses to him his fears of this blond man doing evil things. He is truly surrounded.

Araceli... Her flighty nature sees her wandering around the island vacantly. She ends up watching the sky with Winona at some point, both talking about the wonder of bird pokemon. Falkner finds himself fascinated with another flying-type trainers, and one that seems destined to be as powerful as her father. They both discuss strategies, but Falkner finds himself bewildered by her lack thereof. Nate also enjoys her company as much as her brother's own. They discuss many things more lightheartedly. Oh, and Lisia befriends her, too. The potential of a contest star reigns in this one as well, even if she seems a bit out of it.

Astrea... ending up in this strange place is so fascinating. She wants to meet everyone and anyone. Cynthia is somehow a first friend for her. The Champion already has some feelings towards Volo, but his daughter seems innocent enough. They chat about history and archaeology for so long. Cynthia is endeared by her passion even at such a young age and truly wishes to take her under her wing. Dawn ends up as another she befriends. The Sinnohan trainer mostly ends up acting as a big sister to the displaced girl. (Akari, of course, also being there. Astrea confuses them often.) Through Dawn, she befriends Barry, who entertains her with his goofy actions. Jacq also ends up befriending her, seeing her much like one of his students. He teaches a lot about modern pokemon knowledge, which amazes her. She ends up befriending lots and lots of people. This concerns Volo.

(No Regan and Cordie... too sheltered.)

Amongst themselves, however:

Erin is friends with Lenie, Nero, Ohi'a, and Astrea.

Emma is friends with Lenie, Prisma, Cordelia and Clover.

Inka is tentative allies with Nero.

Nero is friends with Erin, Ohi'a, Prisma, Regan and Inka.

Morrigan is friends with Emma, Prisma, Ohi'a, Laureano, and Lenie.

Clover is friends with everyone and bestest friends with Cordelia. (No one is allowed to be mean to her.)

Laureano is friends with Morrigan.

Araceli is probably friends with Clover.

Astrea is friends with Erin.

Lenie is friends with Morrigan, Clover, Emma, and Erin.

Regan is friends with Nero and Clover.

Cordelia is friends with Clover, Lenie, and Emma.

Prisma is friends with Emma, Nero, and Morrigan.

Ohi'a is friends with Erin, Nero, and Morrigan.

Emma: "I happened to win it at a raffle event they were holding in town."

I poured the drink into a glass and handed it to Prince Kagari, who downed it all at once.

(He’s not exactly a heavy drinker, but he always drinks so boldly.)

Prince Kagari placed the empty glass on the tray, narrowed his eyes with satisfaction, and licked his lips.

Kagari: "It’s good. The alcohol isn’t too strong, so it’s easy to drink."

Emma: "Really? Then I’ll go ahead and—"

Suddenly, my arm was pulled, and before I could react, my lips were sealed by his.

The bitter taste of the alcohol mixed with the heat of Kagari's kiss, causing my heartbeat to quicken.

Kagari: "Tastes good, doesn’t it?"

Emma: "U-uh… I think… I was more focused on the kiss than the alcohol."

...Was I being too passive in situations like this? It's true that I rely on Kagari a lot.

Anxiety and frustration swelled inside me, and in my mind, I began to imagine Kagari standing next to a beautiful woman…

He gently stroked my cheek with the back of his fingers, and my resolve started to waver.

Emma: "...You won’t laugh or get upset?"

Kagari: “No. It’ll just make me want to spoil the sad princess even more.”

So I confessed to him about the information I got from Shigure and my plan to seduce him.

And as a result——

Emma: “Why am I the one being pinned down…!?”

Kagari: “I told you, I’m spoiling you.”

He nipped at my neck and chest like a beast, sending small waves of pleasure through me repeatedly.

With a dreamy expression, Kagari removed his gloves using his mouth, and without a word, began to dishevel my clothes.

He kneaded my exposed chest, rolling the tips with his tongue before gently biting them.

The constant stimulation made my thoughts start to melt away.

Kagari: “Princess, you look like you're enjoying yourself. You’re already so wet here, it looks like I could slip right in.”

Emma: "That’s because you’re touching me so much... Ah, no, I... nngh...!"

He guided my hand to his neck and cheek, letting it linger there before kissing my palm.

His deep green eyes were filled with a thick, honey-like sweetness, conveying far more emotion than his words alone.

Any remaining anxiety vanished, leaving me feeling completely at peace.

Just as I made up my mind—

Emma: "Eek!? W-wait, Kagari...!"

I felt the heat of his arousal press against me through our clothes, causing a undeniable heat build deep within me.

Kagari: “I’ve hit my limit. Don’t you think I’ve been holding back long enough, Princess?”

(Ah...)

Before I knew it, his eyes gleamed like a beast, and his thin grasp on his rationality was clearly slipping.

Emma: “Um... I’d appreciate it if you could be a little... gentle with me.”

Kagari: “Can’t. I don’t know how to hold back.”

(That’s exactly what I thought he’d say. But if he’s this relentless every time, my body won’t be able to handle it...)

Like a playful cat, he buried his face in my chest and looked up at me.

Though his gaze was pleading, he subtly pinned both my wrists behind me, making it clear he wasn’t planning on letting me go.

(Kagari is, in a way, a hundred times better at seduction than I am.)

In the end, I was overwhelmed by his insatiable love that night, to the point where my voice and tears were completely spent.

It’s a relatively quiet evening in for the Harrington household. The soup you’re making for dinner is simmering on the stove while Steve keeps your toddler busy. You love Claire, she has you wrapped around her finger, but you’re so glad to have Steve; you’re not sure how you’d ever get anything done if it was just you. The last time you’d checked on your loves, they were both sitting at the coffee table in the living room, coloring diligently, and judging how quiet it is, you assume they’re still there.

Steve is, in fact, still sitting on the floor next to his little girl as she scribbles furiously on her paper, the entirety of her tiny hand wrapped around the purple crayon she’s using. Her eyebrows are furrowed, her nose is scrunched up, and her soft, wavy hair is falling into her face as she concentrates on getting her picture just right. Every little thing she does makes Steve’s heart burst, and this little moment is no exception. Reaching out toward her, Steve gently brushes her hair out of her face, tucking it back into the bow clip already in her hair, even though her hair will probably shake free again in a few moments. His voice is soft and filled with adoration as he asks, “What are you coloring, baby?”

It takes a moment, but Claire finally looks up with wide eyes and gives Steve a smile that is identical to yours. His heart bursts again.

Claire begins explaining her picture, pointing out each part as she does. She’s still learning how to talk, and though Steve can interpret her toddler gibberish better than anyone else, he only catches half the words. Still, he nods thoughtfully, as though he fully understands her, “Wow, lovey, you’re doing such a good job. It’s such a pretty picture.”

She beams at him again, and points at the paper on the table in front of Steve, crayon still in her hand, “Dada draw.”

“Oh, you want daddy to draw another picture?”

“Mhm,” she nods, jabbing her finger at the paper again, “Mama an’ Dada an’ Claire.”

“That’s what you want me to draw?” When she nods again, Steve can’t help but give in, even though his drawing skills aren’t great.

Once she sees that he’s drawing what she asked for, Claire turns back to her own paper with a green crayon this time, scribbling right over the purple. Steve’s a bit more careful as he draws three stick figures on the blank piece of paper, one with your hair, one with his hair and glasses, and a dress and pigtails on the smallest figure. Holding the picture up for her to see, he asks, “How’s this, lovey?”

“Good!”

“Do you think Mama will like our pictures?”

“Mhm!” she babbles on a little longer, saying something about the fridge, and Steve realizes that she wants her picture hung up on the fridge, next to the other three million pictures already there. Not that he would ever complain about her adorable drawings.

“I bet if you showed Mama your picture, she’d hang it up on the fridge, Claire bear,” Steve says, taking a different crayon to quickly write a small note on the paper he’d drawn on. Folding the paper in half, Steve hands it to his little girl and points to the kitchen, “Will you take this one to Mama, too, peanut?”

The unmistakable sound of clumsy toddler footsteps approach the kitchen and you turn away from the stove just in time to see Claire burst into the kitchen. She grins at the sight of you, throwing her arms in the air so you can pick her up, “Mama!”

“Hey, sweetheart!” you bend down to scoop her up into your arms, pulling her up to your hip, “Were you and Daddy coloring together?”

Instead of answering, she shoves her drawing into your face, eagerly awaiting your praise, which you quickly give to her after glancing at the mess of color, “Oh, it’s beautiful, baby! You’re so good at coloring.” You punctuate your sentence with a kiss to her cheek. “What’s the other paper you got there, baby?”

“Dada,” she says, holding the paper out for you to take before squirming in your arms.

You set her back on the floor before you can unfold the paper, and watch her dart back out to the living room. When she disappears from the kitchen, you hang up the drawing she’d given you, and unfold the one from your husband. Inside, next to the drawing he’d done is a small note written in crayon. Steve’s already messy handwriting is even harder to read in the thick crayon, but you manage to make out what it says.

It’s his cheesiest nickname for you, followed by an equally cheesy proclamation of love that ends with ‘I love our life together. Love you to the moon and back, honey. Steve’ He’d even drawn a messy heart next to his name.

His drawing and note goes on the fridge front and center right next to Claire’s.

nothing is out of fic scope at this point, it's like a 100k universe in my brain that includes the original chaptered fic and like 50 spin-offs. it's really out-of-hand.

anyway, i was thinking about this this morning on my commute but i wanted to force myself to do a chore before answering, so i've been pondering this one all day.

my original thought was oscar's going to race until his mid-to-late 30's at least probably, so Emma will be a teenager and he'll still be in F1. so then I was thinking about emma in the paddock, because i was like she'd DEFINITELY be a social queen (she's lando's daughter) so everyone would have known her most of her life, it's like a second home and she loves going to races whenever she can. and then i was thinking about emma loving the paddock back, and i was like... you know what makes sense in my brain? emma who LOVES f1 and always has, whose most important influences and parent figures (other than actual bio dad obvi) all lived and breathed it her whole childhood, who is probably fascinated by the details and intricacies. so anyway, emma who wants to study to be a race engineer or mechanic. right? like she loves chatting with oscar's pit wall and looking at data with them and talking with osc after races about the strategy and his decision-making process and oscar obviously loves it too, because he loves racing. and lando LIKES f1 and UNDERSTANDS f1 because he karted as a kid, but he's not deeply fascinated by race craft the way emma is. so we get individual special bonding between teenage emma and oscar that they both cherish.

anyway, outside of that, she'll be a teenage girl, so she'll definitely have her moments of drama and irritation and freezing her parents out, but she loves them both deeply and admires them as people. probably embarrassed by lando around race weekends bc she wants to be seen as grown up and mature, so she'd be a bit of an asshole to him sometimes. obligatory "you're not even my legal parent, stop telling me what to do" to oscar when he's asking her to do her homework or telling her she can't go out alone with a date to an event at 11pm. but yeah. mostly just growing pains. not having a female figure in the house with her is really frustrating to her sometimes, like she probably cries when she's having period cramps and doesn't have a mom to help her, but it's passing. she's close with lando's mum and maybe pietra a bit, or one of lando or oscar's sisters. still likes to cuddle with one of her dads when she's sad or sick. i'm undecided if she'll ever call oscar "dad" or an equivalent moniker or just "osc" forever, but she definitely THINKS of him as her second dad from the time she's like five or six. so yeah. normal teenage stuff.

I always wanted to do something in music or theatre. A singer or actor. I was a huge choir nerd in high school. I even did piano lessons for a few years. What do you consider your biggest accomplishment?

I haven't accomplished much in life to be honest so I don't know what I would consider an accomplishment. Maybe being able to learn different professions throughout the years. I am a Certified Patient Care Tech and all though I am not even that work field anymore, I still very much enjoyed learning about the healthcare process and what different titles mean when it comes to taking care of patient and getting the help that they need.

I have no clueeeeeeeee......maybe that I'm from MX ?? LOL My accent is completely gone now from the 12 years that I've lived in the States. Which is so sad cause not only do I suck at speaking English, my Spanish is going down hill too.. I'm slowly turning into a sabo kid!! 😭😭

Lately, my lows have been just feeling very lost and out of place. I feel like I should be at a certain point in my life but I am so far from reaching it or maybe I won't ever come close but yeah, its a very crappy feeling. I never lie, I speak my truth all the time but while I was in my first serious relationship, I lied ALOT about being okay and happy. It was such unhealthy relationship for me and I wanted to keep the peace at all times that I lied a lot to my family. Trust me when I say, even if they are older, does not mean they are mature. Learned that the hard way.

Our brain doesn't know our eyeballs exist and if they did know, they would attack them. You can permanently go blind if our brain was like, "wait a min, where did they come from??" Freaking GNARLY!

What is your most prized possession?

I am in LOVE with V for Vendetta. From the moment I saw it back when my dad would let us rent random movies from Blockbusters, I just love it. I read the comics and love the theatrics of how V is and how beautifully he was portrayed by Hugh Weaving. I ended up buying a screenplay book that contains the directors notes and small changes that were made that didn't make it to the movie and that is my most prized possession. Definitely fueled my love for acting and everything that comes from just being able to shoot a movie.

When I did my taxes for the first time. I was not ready to adult, and I still can't adult correctly but surviving!

I have a lot of fears and some may seem so little. I am afraid of never being able to accomplish or become the person I dreamt of being. I'm afraid that I will never get back on track with how I envisioned I would be right now at 24. It's dumb little things that scare me. Never finding love and having a family of my own or not being able to be fully happy. Sometimes it feels like something is missing and maybe that's why I have been feeling lost lately. Those are biggest fears.

i’m soooo so curious- just . like . what on earth going on in regulus’ mind during part three of nothing happens? can we get some insight on this guy?? put him under a microscope and dissect his brain ?? because while he was somewhat hesitant about kissing james at first, he seemed to have VERY little remorse after emma left LMAOOO like i know the whole thing is james pov and he’s a very unreliable narrator- i just think about reggie and wtf is going on up there,,,, also i love love love this series (and your writing!! i binged all the fics after i came across nh) and i’ve probably reread them each like three times this week :)) can’t wait to see what happens next hehe

i don't want to say too much bc the whole point of nothing happens is . never getting reg's pov . having to rely on james all the time even tho he's clearly unreliable . being unsure of everything he says when it comes to regulus and how he perceives him bc despite the fact that he knows him best he's also . painfully biased

but i totally get the curiosity nonnie and the need to get something, anything, on nh reg and how's he's faring considering the circumstances

let's say he's feeling . very hurt and very heartbroken after what happens during part 3, and also slightly confused about some stuff related to james. you're right about him not feeling any remorse, there's no guilt about having hurt emma. in fact, there's some smugness + possessiveness bc james didn't go after her, he stayed with him and he kissed him and he took his side

and aw babe that makes me so very happy!! and i'm so grateful for ur support and appreciation!! can't belive u read everything and that u enjoy my writing this much <3 i've been making some progress with nothing happens part 4 and having the time of my life with it so !! hopefully u won't have to wait THAT long <333
